Jeff manages Bandera Partners, a value-oriented hedge fund based in New York City. He has served on seven public company boards of directors, given talks about corporate governance all over the world, and delivered guest lectures at various business schools including Harvard, Stanford, Chicago, Penn, MIT, UVA and NYU. Jeff currently teaches Shareholder Activism at Columbia Business School, where he taught Applied Value Investing from 2011 to 2016. His book, Dear Chairman: Boardroom Battles and the Rise of Shareholder Activism, was named one of the best books of 2016 by The Financial Times.
